ADVERTISING FOR DUMMIES

So, you need to create an advertising campaign that brings in more customers, adds more dollars to your bottom line, and validates all the reasons you went into business in the first place. But how can you make your ad look and sound like champagne if your budget can only afford beer? Are you wasting your time trying to sell ice to an Eskimo?
The world of advertising can seem like a daunting place—but it doesn’t have to be. Advertising for Dummies coaches you through the process and shows you how to:

Identify and reach your target audience
Define and position your message
Get the most bang for your buck
Produce great ads for every medium
Buy the different media
Create buzz and use publicity
Research and evaluate your competition
Advertising for Dummies offers newbies a real-world look at the ins and outs of advertising—from online and print to TV, radio, and outdoor formats—to show you how you can easily develop and execute a successful campaign on any budget. Plus, you’ll find a glossary of common buzzwords you may encounter along the way so you can talk the talk like the advertising guru you (almost) are! With simple tips on how to write memorable ads and timeless lessons from the legends, this book is packed with everything you need to have people from New York to Los Angeles whistling your jingle.

THE ART OF WAR BY SUN TZU

The Art of War is one of the oldest and most successful books on military strategy in the world. It has had a huge influence on Eastern military thinking, business tactics, and beyond. Sun Tzu recognized the importance of positioning in strategy and that position is affected both by objective conditions in the physical environment and the subjective opinions of competitive actors in that environment. He taught that strategy was not planning in the sense of working through a to-do list, but rather that it requires quick and appropriate responses to changing conditions. Planning works in a controlled environment, but in a competitive environment, competing plans collide, creating unexpected situations.
The book was first translated into the French language in 1782 by French Jesuit Jean Joseph Marie Amiot, and into English by Sinologist Lionel Giles in 1910. It very likely influenced Napoleon, [1] and the planning of Operation Desert Storm.[2][3] Leaders as diverse as Mao Zedong, General Vo Nguyen Giap, Baron Antoine-Henri Jomini, and General Douglas MacArthur have claimed to have drawn inspiration from the work.

THE ROBB REPORT MAGAZINE

The Robb Report is a luxury lifestyle magazine, featuring products for affluent connoisseurs, such as cars, watches, and real estate. It was originally started by Robert White as a magazine to complement the purchase of a Rolls-Royce automobile.
Robb Report also suggests travel plans, routinely mentioning many wealthy communities including Mission Viejo, Beverly Hills, La Jolla, Scottsdale, Palm Beach, and Greenwich.
A number of other magazines are also published under the Robb Report brand. Including, The Robb Report Collection, Robb Report Vacation Homes, Luxury Home, and Robb Report MotorCycling. International editions include Robb Report Russia, Robb Report Turkey and Robb Report China.
In 2002 the Robb Report brand was sold to Curtco Media for $30M. TD Capital financed part of the acquisition. After which Curtco was renamed Curtco Robb Media and acquired titles in vertical markets such as Homes, Motorcycles and most notably Worth magazine.

Stussy drops two new styles of the Brian frames. The styles feature a two-tone design with a translucent bottom portion over a tortoise-color style and a black/clear version. The frames are slightly angular that rise towards the upper edges. Available now at the Stussy Zozo Chapter.

Oakley continue on with their innovative interchangeable “4-Legged” Frogskins design. Coming with two different sets of replaceable arms, a tonal gray color as well as a contrasting purple version are both seen for this Violet Iridium colorway. Available now at Oakley.com.

With a release schedule for May 8th, the Nike SB Stefan Janoski has now landed at select Nike SB accounts. The kicks feature a fusion of skate shoes, boat shoes, and everything in between. Two colorways are now available for pre-order through CCS, including a black/white and brown/tan.

BBC drop a new set of checkered items including a button-down long sleeve with the classic astronaut applique and New Era 59Fifty cap boasting the same red/white print. Both items are now available at BBC/Ice Cream Flagship stores worldwide.

For all of the sneakerheads that have been living under a rock, tomorrow marks the release of the second colorway in the Nike Air Yeezy saga. Having seen how hectic the first drop was, we wouldn’t expect anything less from this black/pink release, which is arguably the most highly scouted of the three scheduled colorways. Various spots already have lineups, so this is just a friendly reminder to not miss out on one of the hottest Nike releases of 2009.

LYRIC LOVERS! (hot verses from your favorite artist)

Song: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Artist: Consequence
Featuring:
Track Number: 4
Album: Don't Quit Your Day Job

[Intro]
Alright, is everybody ready? (YEAHHH~!)
Alright now here we go!

[Consequence]
Aiyyo good morning America, good morning to Erika
Who gave me gooder head but watch it don't want her to marry cuz
Good day New York, have a good day in court
My niggaz drive around the hood lookin for good yay to snort
I never liked the goodbyes, always called it good vibes
Always had a good time, could always spot a good guy
From a bad guy with the lies what they're liable to try
You know that old sayin, what they say about good guys
I guess that's why I went bad, needed all my chicks bad
Fiends needed hits bad, so they hittin licks bad
Had to get that work off, before that shit went bad
If not it gets bad, and things'll only get bad
So now I'm gettin bad scans, and I got that bad jam
Tellin me them bad sense, songs catch them bad breaks
Caught a bad rate on the whip, with bad brakes
I'm caught up in these bad ways havin a bad day
So now the game's ugly and my pain's ugly and my chain's ugly
Things became ugly cause my ugly rugby
got a stain and it's musty, wakin up lookin crusty
And Ms. Thang who's ugly is sayin to me don't touch me
I went from Pretty Willie to pretty silly without the pretty gully
So you know things'll still get pretty ugly
And this is for the hoods, the crabs, the junkies
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly

[Chorus: Consequence]
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
They said get your money ain't no tellin they gon' love me
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
When your money get funny and them days ain't sunny
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
Niggaz give pounds and hug me, know they really wanna slug me
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
And this is for the hood, you got, to love me

[Kanye West]
Good morning to umm, I don't remember your name
But I remember the brain, here go a pimp for the trainin
Good morning to Chi-Town, where my niggaz ride down
To bust clowns and look for bust downs to bust down
If she ain't got a car she on the bus now
But her gear is bangin, she one of us now
I wanted badly to bone, cause she was bad to the bone
She from a badder home, she mad when she at home
So I gave her my # to peep off, she wanted to take a week off
Bustin Scary Movie nuts, I had to get the freak off
That new time cruise set the mood line ruse
On a too long cruise, she said I ain't bonin you
with them two long shoes, and acted bougie in a Grey Poupon mood
So I'ma act cheap in a coupon mood
She said 'Ye, you don't love me?
I told her there was good it's too bad it got ugly

[Chorus: Kanye West]
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
They said get your money ain't no tellin they gon' love me
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
And this is for the hood, you got, to love me

[Consequence]
Aiyyo good morning to Queens, the Northside is my scene
And when it comes down to it I'ma ride for my team
See it's a beautiful life, but these bills'll make it ugly
And the beauty of life, is when you're forced to make it ugly
Had a beautiful night, 'til a storm done made it ugly
And a beautiful wife, now we divorcin and it's ugly
Now my mindstate is ugly, when blind dates are ugly
And I'm ready turn it up in these streets, and make it ugly
Used to sit in Mr. Ugly's with these sisters that was ugly
And these bitches used to bum me to the point it made me ugly
And say things that was ugly then leave the bar, abruptly
But I took it all back, cause God don't like ugly
Now I'm curbin my bad words and say that's a bad burn
I left it on bad terms with a chick with a bad perm
Who case took a bad turn, her face caught a bad burn
And took the news bad when they said she had bad germs
The bad thing about the bitch is bad and 'bout it
But the pussy smelled bad so I had to get up out it
So now we got bad luck, our son is a bad blood
But it happens in the hood when you inherit that bad luck
And once you get bad, it be bad for good
And that's bad meanin bad not bad meanin good
But I agree that it's good, when you leave with the goods
It's all good in the hood I call good cause it's good
Now I'm havin some good nights, livin this good life
Got me a good girl that I'ma make me a good wife
So I'm, good to go, and I'm good where I go
cause my man got good aim and that's a good thing to know
And he came offa good, offa good behavior
Spittin that good game so what's good with this paper
Cause this is for the hoods, the crabs, the junkies
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly

[Chorus: Consequence]
Aiyyo we showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
They said get your money ain't no tellin they gon' love me
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
When your money get funny and them days ain't sunny
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
Niggaz give pounds and hug me, know they really wanna slug me
We showin you the good, the bad, the ugly
And this is for the hood, you got, to love

Song: Neva Hafta Wurry
Artist: Snoop Dogg
Featuring:
Track Number: 5
Album: Ego Trippin

[Intro]
Fifteen years in da game man, and I'm still relevant, it's a blessing
It's a fine line how to keep it cool and keep it g
All keeping a g is keeping it cool, and all keeping it cool is keeping it g

[Verse 1]
1992, d cover hit da world and fell in love with snoop
Doggystyle came out, it's like I dropped the bomb
One of the greatest hip-hop records of all time
I was young, gettin' money, livin' wild and free
Got owned and I Brought The whole pound with me
Didn't matter who's around, I kept it way to G
Niggaz know it was eastside LBC
Gangsta shit, That's what a Mothaf**kin' Gangsta Get
The one up above Didn't Like My Pace
I was movin' too fast Then I Caught That Case
Hm, I fought dat case, wondered where da west would be if I'd have lost That case
I slow ma down, swimin' with da sharks and I almost drowned

[Chorus]
I done made some mistakes long da way, to become da G I am today
Who'd ever thought I'd make it this far, out the hood to be a big star
And I ain't going nowhere, only I ain't ever comin' down
I'm too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat

[Verse 2]
I'm finally out, and da critics say they love me cause I went to the south
Said I wasn't gone shine, had me left for dead, switch sides, now my old boss want me dead
Dropped the first of the three, and you said it was weak, No Limit Top Dogg the return of da biz
And from dat point on, I know what to do
Don't worry 'bout them just do what you do
Last Meal was the one who took me off the leash, dats da last time a nigga gonna eat off of me
Stack Black after black game, mil your soul
I'm da boss of this bitch and I ain't never went gold, nigga

[Chorus]
I done made some mistakes long da way, to become da G I am today
Who'd ever thought I'd make it this far, out the hood to be a big star
And I ain't going nowhere, only I ain't ever comin' down

I'm too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat

[Verse 3]
Boss of da city, boss of da coast, some otha niggaz try but none of them come close
They stuck like a silly , but nothing like a loke
Da big bow wow, I kill it with one stroke
Dats what it's about, they tryin' a tell a nigga what to come out his mouth
Mothaf**ka I'm a G, but first I'm a man, freedom of speech, bitch is a word you can't ban
So they blamin' me, saying this my talk, just some women is hoes like it's my fault
Hm, damn they lost, they just don't know dat a bitch is a bitch and a hoe is a hoe
Let them heaters cock and let them leaders talk
I'mma be smokin Down, Livin Like A Boss
Let them Heaters Cock and let them leaders talk
I'mma be smoking Down Livin Like A Boss NIGGA

[Chorus]
I done made some mistakes long da way, to become da G I am today
Who'd ever thought I'd make it this far, out the hood to be a big star
And I ain't going nowhere, only I ain't ever comin' down
I'm too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat

[Outro]
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, too high in the cloud to ever have to worry 'bout dat
Too high, to ever have to worry 'bout dat
To ever have to worry 'bout dat
No, no, to ever have to worry 'bout dat
No, no, no, to ever have to worry 'bout dat
To ever have to worry 'bout dat
No more, no more, no more, to ever have to worry 'bout dat
I'm too high, to ever have to worry 'bout dat
To ever have to worry 'bout dat

(Sample)
"They did not have the power to stop Louis Farrakhan
They were trying to touch on and thieve envy within the leadership
But as a general and a man that rose through the ranks through discipline
His presence inspired those men with the discipline he imposed on his own life
Louis Farrakhan"

[Nas]
No revolutionary gets old or so I'm told
Your left full of bullet holes when you tell the people go free
Oh, it's a matter of days before they try to take me
I heard gun shots rang; his bullet's got my name
I ain't see 'em take aim, I dreamt this day came
'Cause I stood in the face of damnation
Satan spat at 'em, flat out disgraced 'em
He want my blood, why me?
Why not the fake who deserve death man?
Fuck it, I'll take one
'Cause stop me but can't stop a whole nation of millions who feel you deceived them
They believe in reparation makes it even
So I'm deadly now because of one reason, they listening
In Budapest, Japan, China, and Switzerland
We getting it in son, another bullet pass by, miss me
Wondering who plotting to get me?
Alphabet boys still plotting against me
To hush me and stuff me in the pockets of history
You won't remember why they came to clip me
When time go by you'll soon forget me
They say he was the king of bling, jewels, and Bentley's
Then I use one of my lines just to prove I'm guilty
Don't let' em kill me...

(Sample)
"They did not have the power to stop Louis Farrakhan."
"They did not have the power to stop Louis Farrakhan."
"They did not have the power to stop Louis Farrakhan."
"They did not have the power to stop Louis Farrakhan."

[Nas]
Some revolutionaries do live long
Am I one of them? Guess we'll know in due time
Everybody has rights, can I use mine?
Can I rock shine? Can I have a girl that's too fine?
Got a swell life, tell me will I lose mine?
Every time I turn around somebody new dying
Let's start living, alecart, Escargo, Escobar invest my millions
Mansion for the wife the rest for the children
Knowing that they coming anytime
But until then I'ma in lost till they shoot me
Million dollar stones in my camouflaged Gucci
Giving you this crack like Pookie
To question the system, be the resistance
No matter what color you are everybody niggas
Or you can stand by or watch or you can march on with us

(Chorus) Nas 2x
Some revolutionaries get old although I'm told
You'll get a left full of bullet holes when you tell the people go free
Oh, it's a matter of days before they try to take me

You see I told you I'd murder dem

[50 Cent]
They sayin I'm an accident waitin to happen
I got one in the head, I'm just waitin to clap it
A pimp told me I was made for this mack shit
So just get you a white girl, don't fuck with no black bitch
I got two felonies, from sellin that crack shit
And the third one, came from showin niggaz my mac spit
See I'm down for that daytime action
Have niggaz crawlin under cars when I start to cappin
So they don't know what to say to the {*captain*}
But they know if word get back, somethin gon' happen
I've been shot, I've been stabbed, but I ain't been snitched on
When you snitchin where I'm from you gon' get your shit blown
Southside - I make the best of the worst
We gotta share the same bitch, okay I go first
Cause your, baby's momma is my, baby's momma
I come through to see my little nigga with the llama

[Chorus]

Uh

This one right here goes out
To my homie with the drink
Nah mean

He said, I write what I see
Write to make it right, don't like where I be
I'd like to make a life to sights on TV
Quite the great life, so nice and easy
See, now you can still die from that
But it's better than not being alive from straps
Agree, a Mead Notebook and a Bic
That clip when it's pushed in a whack ass beat
That's a track that's weak that he got last week
Cause everybody in the stu is like "That's that heat"
A bass heavy melody with a sample from the seventies
With a screwed up hook that went

Stack that cheese
Something, Something, Something...
Stack that cheese
Mother, Sister, Cousin...
Stack that cheese
He couldn't think of nothing...
Stack that cheese
He turns down the beat, Writer's block and peads

Crying from the next room a baby in need
Of some pampers and some food and a place to sleep
That plus a black Cadillac on D's
Is what keep him on track to be a great MC

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved me

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved my life

Reps north side so he rocks them braids
Eleven hundred friends on his myspace page
'Stack that cheese' got seven hundred plays
Producer made him take it down, said he had to pay
Open Mic champ two weeks in a row
Ex D-boy with a B-boy flow
Glow like Leroy you should see boy go
Got a daddy serving life and a brother on the row
Best homie in a grave, tatted up while in the cage
Minute maid got his momma working like a slave
Down baby momma who he really had to honor
Cause she was his biggest fan, even let him use her Honda to
Drive up to Dallas with a open up for amatuers
Let him keep her debit cards so he could put gas in it
Told her when he get home he gon' take her to the galleria
Buy her everything but the mannequins, ya dig

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved me

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved my life

His man called, said "Ya time might be now.
They played ya freestyle over Wipe Me Down.
They played it two times, said it might be crowned
As the best thing out the H-Town in a while."
He picked up his son with a great, big smile
Rapped every single word to the newborn child
Then he put him down and went back to the kitchen
And put on another beat and got back to the mission, to
Get his momma out the hood, put her somewhere in the woods
Keep his lady looking good, have her rolling like she should
Show us home is this'a way, other than that flipping yay
Bail his homie outta jail, put a lawyer on his case
Throw a concert for the school, show the shoulders that it's cool
Throw some candy on the caddy, chucked a duece, and act a fool
Man it feels good when it happens like that
Two days from going back to selling crack, yessir

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved me

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved my life

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved me

One you never heard of, I...
Push it hard to further the...
Grind, I feel like murder but...
Hip Hop has saved my life

Hip Hop has saved my life

Hip Hop has saved my life

Song: Big Brother

[Intro: Kanye West]
Stadium status...
Unh...
My big brother was B.I.G.'s brother
Use to be Dame and Bigg's brother
Who was Hip Hop brother, who was No I.D. friend
No I.D., my mentor, now let the story begin
It's the Hard Knock Life Tour, sellout; picture
us in the mall, coppin' Iceberg and yell out "Jigga!"
Yeah, that's what we'll yell out, yell out
You know the name do I gotta spell out or tell 'bout
J-A-Y, and 'Ye so shy
Now he won't even step to his idol to say hi
Standing there like a mime and let the chance pass by
Back of my mind, "He could change yo' life
With all these beats I did, at least let him hear it
At least you can brag to ya friends back at the gig"
But he got me out me out my momma crib
Then he help me get my momma a crib

[Chorus]
Big brother was B.I.G.'s brother
Use to be Dame and Bigg's brother
Who was Hip Hop brother, who was No I.D. friend
No I.D., my mentor, now let the story begin
Begin... let the story begin... story begin
If you feel the way I feel
Why don't you wave your hands, hand...

[Verse One]
Fresh off the plane, Im off to Baseline
Nothin' handed out, I'm 'bout to take mine
'Round the same time of that "Blueprint" one
And these beats in my pocket was that "Blueprint" for him
I'd play my little songs in that old back room
He'll bob his head and say "Damn! Oh, that's you?"
But by the "Black Album" I was blacking out
Partyin' S.O.B.'s and we had packed a crowd
Big brother got his show up at Madison Square
And I'm like "Yeah, yeah, we gon' be there" but
Not only did I not get a chance to spit it
Colleen told me I could buy two tickets
I guess big brother was thinkin' a little different
And kept little brother at bay, at a distance
But everything that I felt was more bogus
Only made me more focused, only wrote more potent
Only thing I wanna know is why I get looked over
I guess I'll understand when I get more older
Big brother saw me at the bottom of the totem
Now I'm on the top and everybody on the scrotum

[Chorus]
My big brother was B.I.G.'s brother
Use to be Dame and Bigg's brother
Who was Hip Hop brother, who was No I.D. friend
No I.D., my mentor, now let the story begin
Begin... let the story begin, begin...
If you feel the way I feel
Why won't you wave your hands

[Verse Two]
Have you ever walked in the shadow of a giant?
Not only a client, the Presidito
Hola, Hovito
The game gettin' foul so here's a free throw
I was always on the other side of the peephole
Then I dropped "Jesus Walks" now I'm on the steephole
And we know, "New Jack City" got to keep my brother
But to be number one I'ma beat my brother
On that "Diamonds" remix I swore I spazzed
Then my big brother came thru and kicked my ass
Sibling rivalry, only I could see
It was the pride in me that was drivin' me
At the Grammy's I said "I inspired me"
But my big brother who I always tried to be
When I kicked a flow it like pick-and-roll
Cuz even if he gave me the rock, it's give-and-go
I guess Beanie's style was more of a slam dunk
But my shit was more like a finger roll
But I had them singles though
And them hoes at the show gon' mingle, yo
Heh, y'all know
I told Jay I did a song with Coldplay
Next thing I know he got a song with Coldplay
Back in my mind I'm like "Damn, no way"
Translate, espanol "No way, Jose"
Then I went and told Jay Brown
Shoulda known THAT was gon' come back around
Shoulda talked to you like a man, shoulda told you first
But I told somebody else and that's what made shit worse
My big brother was B.I.G.'s brother
So here's a few words from ya kid brother
If you admire somebody you should go on 'head tell 'em
People never get the flowers while they can still smell 'em
A idol in my eyes, god of the game
Heart of the city, Rocafella chain
Never be the same, never be another
Number one, Young Hov, also my big brother

[Chorus]
My big brother was B.I.G.'s brother
Use to be Dame and Bigg's brother
Who was Hip Hop brother, who was No I.D. friend
No I.D., my mentor, and that's where the story ends

Toomp killed this shit...

artist: THE ROOTS FT. CHRISETTE MICHELE
album: RISING DOWN
year: 2008
title: RISING UP

[Intro (?uestlove & Chrisette Michele)]
Yesterday I saw a B-girl crying; yesterday I saw a B-girl crying
I walked up and asked what's wrong,
She told me that the radio's been playing the same song all day long
So I told her I got something you've been waiting for
I got something you've been waiting for

[Chorus (Chrisette Michele & Black Thought)]
Yesterday I saw a B-girl crying; I walked up and asked what's wrong
She told me that the radio's been playing the same song all day long
So get your glass lift it up in the toast position
We getting paper like John Travolta get it
Cause we focused wit it we supposed to get it
You know me and my whole squad we so committed
We not the kids cooling out on the sofa with it
We about to dominate the globe like Oprah did it
We getting paper like John Travolta nigga

[Black Thought] VERSE 1
Well I'm a downtown shooter who that?
The crown ruler is back
He kind of grew into the shape of a mack
Look how I do it, yo I'm taking you back
This how you rise down to the foundation, how sacred is that?
I'm from the number one place on the map
The generational gap with yet another sensational track
And we don't stress for nothing I just press the button
It's as simple as just making it hap
To all the frauds stop faking, relax
And to the broads if you caking
Then clap then shake it without breaking your back
I know the world been waiting for that
You been aching for that cuz what they playing on the station is wack
And I'm a legend in the flesh that dress to impress
The best is that which I accept and nothing less
My stacks is grotesque my squad, so fresh
You know its Black Thought and your boy the bro ?uest, but

[Chorus (Chrisette Michele & Black Thought)]

[Wale] VERSE 2
Hip-Hop ain't dead cuz the pulse is in us
I got the Everclear flow, they mimosa with it
We are the hope of the culture, they supposed to listen
And I'm supposed to pivot like I'm a forward in the league, I'm Oden with it
Yet don't owe them niggas nothing but potent lyrics
But if you ain't got the dance they revoke your spinning
So good rappers ain't eating they Olsen twining
But I'm so committed, they have grown familiar
With the counterfeit hitters they so-so with it, but they are Sosa with it.
They Mark McGuire with the written, I'm Rodriguez
On the road to riches this is the fork I'm hitting
This is the trial and error era no co-defendant
I push The Seed every time like I'm Cody with it
I said the one-hit wonders pneumonia to us
I don't know you niggas, hit the road my nigga

[Chorus (Chrisette Michele & Black Thought)]

[Black Thought] VERSE 3
Where my grimy figures at? look lively addressing the captain
Show me where your first impression is at
And where your dedication to the true profession is at
How you laugh answer me, "What kind of question is that?"
I'll show you where my rare essence is at, the adolescence of rap
The real muscle in the message of that
My name trouble I'm a blessing to rap
And you can check my stats cuz worldwide they attesting to that
So nigga listen you can probably learn a lesson perhaps
How I'm like Bobby DeNiro, Joe Pesc and them cats
Am I the unsung hero? oh yes if you asking anybody that's aware of the classics
They'll tell you I'm a legend in the flesh that dress to impress
The best is that which I accept and nothing less
My stacks is grotesque my squad, so fresh
You know its Black Thought and your boy the bro ?uest, but

[Chorus (Chrisette Michele)]

Busta Rhymes We Made It Lyrics
Busta Rhymes - We Made It Lyrics
(Chester Bennington:)
Together we made it we made it even though we had our backs up against the wall

(Busta Rhymes:)
See a nigga survived the worst
But my life is glorious
But I know that I need to be hurdled and i'm so victorious

Take a look i'm a symbol of greatness now call a nigga morpheus

As force accumulated the wind and but a believe i'm so notorious

You know i've been buying my bread even though we rapping now (yes)

And now when u look on my trip higher level tramping now
(Fast Rap)

(chorus-Chester Bennington:)
Together we made it

We made it even though we
Had our backs up against the wall

Forever we waited,
And they told us we were never going to get it

But we took it on the road,
To the riches,
On the road, to the ghetto, on the road, to the projects on the road, ride with me
On the road, we come and get it on the rooooooad

(Mike Shinoda)
When it all got started we was steadily just getting rejected
And it seemed like nothing we could do would ever get us respected
And thus we was stressed and the worst they probably said was we're pathetic
Had all the pieces to that puzzle just a way to get connected and I was fighting through every rhyme
Tighting up every line never resting the question and I was out of my mind and it finally came time To do it or let it die so put the chips on the table and told me to let it fly ohhh
Singing yea

(chorus-Chester Bennington:)
Together we made it
We made it even though we
Had our backs up against the wall
Forever we waited,
And they told us we were never going to get it
But we took it on the road,
To the riches,
On the road, to the ghetto, on the road, to the projects on the road, ride with me
On the road, we come and get it on the road yeah yeah yeah yeah!

(Busta Rhymes:)
Look in case you misunderstanded exactly what i'm building
Shit that I could leave for my children (children) children (children)
Now I only wake up I smile to see how far I come fighting for sales on a strip
To get hustle from nights in jail on a bench using my muscles son
To count money

But now I live when I dream you see me finally getting it
Let's make a toast to the hustle regardless how you did it

Ohhhh singing

(chorus- Chester Bennington:)
Together we made it
We made it even though we
Had our backs up against the wall
Forever we waited,
And they told us we were never going to get it
But we took it on the road,
To the riches,
On the road, to the ghetto, on the road, to the projects on the road, ride with me
On the road, we come and get it on the rooooooadyeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!
